Time is money. Money is time. Why are you changing the look of the penny? What a waste of money this is. In a time of financial crisis (as the one we are in now) you would think idiotic wastes like this would cease. The money you pay the artist to carve the original cast, the money you pay the engineers to program and run the specialized machine you use to carve an initial smaller die to make the other dies from, the time and money spent on having all the workers change out all the tooling and dies, etc. etc... Money presses run 24/7. This is already a monetary unit we have more than enough of. There is no need to change the look of the penny or reproduce anymore. I personally will donate all my pennies to the cause of helping the national economy get out of this crisis. Its small actions like this, that need to be done all over the place. Stop wasting my time and everyone elses time too.    See The Waste Here
